Employment Agencies
The Employment Agency Guidelines have been deleted from this website because they were made obsolete when the Department expanded the Criminal Record Clearance regulations in July 2003. The regulations include the information licensees need related to obtaining or transferring an individual’s criminal record clearance or exemption.
Please be aware that a licensee’s use of an employment agency’s services does not affect the licensee’s responsibility to comply with the laws and regulations that govern their license. The licensee is responsible for complying with all licensing requirements related to the individuals that work in their facility. In particular, a licensee must comply with all criminal record background check requirements for all individuals working in their facility.
