Orientation Schedules
ORIENTATION SCHEDULES FOR CHILD CARE FACILITIES
If you are interested in attending a Child Care Center or Family Child Care Home orientation, please click on the appropriate link below to view the orientation schedule for your area.
If you plan to operate a Family Child Care Home in Del Norte, Inyo, Marin, Mendocino, or Sacramento counties, your county licensing office will provide the orientation. There is a separate link at the bottom of this web page for orientations provided by county licensing offices.
Please be aware that the orientation dates, fees, and registration and payment procedures are subject to change. Before you can attend an orientation, you must contact your local Regional or County Licensing Office to:
- Confirm the dates of the orientation
- Register for the orientation
- Find out how to pay for the orientation. Currently, fees are:
- Child Care Centers: $50 for each person
- Family Child Care Homes: $25 for each person
- Prior to attending an orientation, you must download and print the Family Child Care Home Regulation Highlights and all of the forms contained in the Application Instructions for a Family Child Care Home License (LIC 279A). To access these documents, please click on the preceding blue links.
- You must bring all of these forms to the orientation.
